Aquaman and Picnic

Tomorrow is our first meet of the season — an intrasquad competition (only our team is swimming) — and it promises to be filled with camaraderie and competitive spirit. Join us afterwards for a picnic and awards ceremony, complete with Coach Maye face painting, The Stand restaurant fundraiser and Project Hope Alliance charity donation. Please refer to our Tuesday meet email from May 16th with all the details and times.

Swim-A-Palooza

SWIM-A-PALOOZA IS OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER FOR THE SEASON! We’re currently at 25% of our goal and we need everyone to help make it a splashing success! All of the funds collected from this fundraiser will help purchase new technology for hosting HVST meets (computers, printers, iPads). Taking place during your swimmer’s regular practice time, there will be raffles, prizes, special treats, and music to make the event extra FUN! Read all about donating to our fundraiser here.

In addition to raising pledges for laps, we are hosting a Silent Auction for HVST experiences. Click here to start bidding on the fun experiences you can win for the summer swim season like being the Coach for the Day, private lessons with coaches and more! Bidding is now open and ends May 26th!

Fun Friday Theme

Attention all Mighty Dolphins! Join us on Friday May 26th for a one-of-a-kind day of FUN! We will be practicing to sprint, safe relay transitions, and diving to earn a chance to race down our water slide! Plus, beach balls! Come and get yours during this week’s Fun Friday from 3:00-4:45 out on the pool deck! Compliments of Pam Spruce and Kristi Cousens.

We can’t let the kids have all the fun! Please book your babysitters now to join us for an evening of food, wine and fun at Tableau Kitchen and Bar on Saturday, June 10th at 6-9pm. More details to come! 

Job Sign Up Green Button Clarification

When you see the green button for volunteer Job Sign Up next to an event on our calendar, and it says “open”, it simply means the sign ups remain open to editing. We close job sign up editing a day or two before events happen, thereby locking in volunteer shifts. Therefore, “open” isn’t referring to shifts being necessarily available, but simply sign ups being open to edits. It’s important to check back often: one day there may be no shifts open for a particular event, and the next day a shift may open up due to an edit by a previously signed up volunteer. Check back if you’re seeking a shift at a particular event.

Dolphin Dollar Store Date Change

Our next Dolphin Dollar store will be Wednesday, June 7th (previously posted for Monday, June 5th) with extended hours to make sure our oldest swimmers get to use their dollars! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 7th: 3:30-5:45pm! We’ve also added morning hours for the June 22 and July 13 store dates, again to accommodate our olders!
