Customized HVST Silicone and Latex Caps Order Deadline

If you would like to order online from Competitive Aquatic Supply (CAS) a pair of personalized HVST swim caps (two of the same last name), please note deadlines for first order cutoff below. No exceptions can be made outside of these deadlines. We encourage everyone to get your online orders into CAS to avoid any delays. The printer needs on average 4 weeks to get custom orders completed. The biggest take away is to order the personalized caps SEPARATELY because ordering the personalized caps with suits or other apparel, it will delay the caps for everyone.

SCSC Finals

On Saturday, July 19th, we will have our second and final invitational meet of the season with all six teams in our SCSC league meeting at the SCSC Finals. This meet will feature a single, unified session (not a split meet) and includes both relays and individual events. It marks the end of our summer swim season and provides opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills and compete against other teams. Finals has limited entries for each team and will be invitation-only based on swimmers' dips, times and abilities including having attended at least four meets in the season and swimming two events at each of those meets. Coaches will be reaching out to eligible HVST swimmers by Tuesday, July 15th to invite them to swim. Go Dolphins! Please refer to our volunteer FAQ's for more information about volunteering. What If I Can't Make the Shift For Which I Signed up? It’s your responsibility to find a substitute for any volunteer job that you’re unable to fulfill. Remember: you don't need to be the one who volunteers; it can be a babysitter, teenager, grandparent, etc. Or switch the shift in Swimtopia to another meet at which you're available to volunteer. Sign ups will close a couple days before a meet so don’t delay in swapping. If you no-show for a shift that you are signed up for there will be an automatic charge of $125 for each shift that you no-show for. Cancellations made the day prior or day of the meet will incur a $125 charge to your account. You are responsible for keeping track of your own shifts, it is not the responsibility of the team to remind you of your shifts. |

Coach Appreciation Week

This is a fun week to show our coaches how much they mean to us. Mark your calendars, Coach Appreciation Week is almost here! We’re so excited to celebrate our FIN-tastic Mighty, Mighty Dolphins coaches the week of July 7th-11th. Let’s show our amazing coaching staff how much we appreciate them! There are two ways to do this: 1) Give cards (homemade ones are GREAT!) and/or gifts. There will be a file box on deck during practice hours with individual and collective coach folders. 2) To donate to the Coach Appreciation Fund, please venmo Katherine Trainer @katherine-trainer-2. The committee is suggesting a family donation of $25-50 per swimmer. All donations will go towards treats, gifts, and gift cards for each coach. ***If you plan to give via the Venmo Fund, we kindly ask families to send donations no later than Friday July 4th. THANK YOU!!** |

Lip Sync and Picnic!

A longtime Harbor View tradition, and one of the best nights of our summer swim season, HVST Lip Sync Picnic is on Saturday June 28th, 5:30pm (acts start promptly at 6pm; please arrive to get settled before then) on the grass next to the pool. Bring your chairs, blankets and favorite drinks, we will have the Viking Food truck there with dinner options for purchase. Form your groups and brainstorm a song, dance, skit or talent to perform on stage for your teammates, coaches, neighbors and friends at HVST's annual Lip Sync Picnic. Sign up sheets will be on the pool deck. You can also email Danielle Hodge with any questions. |
After Finals, join us at 5:30pm on the greenbelt outside our HVST pool by the playground for a celebration picnic and awards ceremony. All those that ordered trophies will get theirs plus we will be honoring our all-stars and graduates of the 2025 season.
