Please refer to our volunteer FAQ's for more information about volunteering. What If I Can't Make the Shift For Which I Signed up? It’s your responsibility to find a substitute for any volunteer job that you’re unable to fulfill. Remember: you don't need to be the one who volunteers; it can be a babysitter, teenager, grandparent, etc. Or switch the shift in Swimtopia to another meet at which you're available to volunteer. Sign ups will close a couple days before a meet so don’t delay in swapping. If you no-show for a shift that you are signed up for there will be an automatic charge of $125 for each shift that you no-show for. Cancellations made the day prior or day of the meet will incur a $125 charge to your account. You are responsible for keeping track of your own shifts, it is not the responsibility of the team to remind you of your shifts. |

THIS IS OUR BIG FUNDRAISER FOR THE SEASON and we need everyone to help make it a success! This is not only an important event, but also a fun event for the swimmers to participate. Ask your parents, relatives, neighbors and friends to support your efforts by sponsoring you. Sponsors may pledge a dollar amount for each lap that you swim or they may simply pledge a flat amount. In order to help make our swim team run efficiently a minimum of $50 per swimmer is encouraged. If you are unable to give $50 per swimmer, any amount is appreciated. If a sponsor pledges a dollar amount per lap, you will be told how many laps you completed after you finish swimming. You then return to your sponsors and notify them of how much you swam in order to collect their pledges. If a sponsor prefers to make a flat pledge, you may collect it when they sign up. Please fill out this form to let us know that you want a trophy. We would love to provide a trophy for any swimmer that desires one. However, every year we have a ton of trophies that never get picked up at the End of Year Picnic (July 20th) or in the coaches' office weeks later. This is a big cost to our team. By Saturday, June 22nd, please complete the below for each of your HVST swimmers on their wishes for a participation trophy. If we don't have your response by this deadline, we will assume no trophy. |

SCSC Relay Finals - Invite Only

On Saturday, June 21st, we will have our first invitational meet of the season with all six teams in our SCSC league meeting at the SCSC Relays Finals. This meet will feature a single, unified traditional session (not a split meet). This meet has limited entries for each team and will be invitation-only based on swimmers' times and abilities. Coaches will be reaching out to individual HVST swimmers the week of the meet to ask them to swim. Teams: Green Valley, Greenbrook, Newport Hills, Pacific Sands, Lake Forest II, Harbor View Schedule 8:00am Team Arrivals - set up in Tent City ( Green Space) ONLY, No deck access until 8:15) 8:30am – 9:45 am Warm Ups 9:15am Coaches meeting with Head Meet Referee 9:30am Mandatory training for all first and second half timers and lane writers. 9:50am Mascot Race 9:55am National Anthem 10:00am First Event 3:00pm Award Presentation by League President Lane Assignments Lane assignments are based on the order of finish in the 2024 Finals as provided by SCSC (Lane 3,4,2,5,1,6) Lane 1 Newport Hills (5th) Lane 2 Lake Forest II (3rd) Lane 3 Harbor View (1st) Lane 4 Green Valley (2nd) Lane 5 Greenbrook (4th) Lane 6 Pacific Sands (6th) Volunteers: Lane Writer and Timer Assignments Each team provides the lane writer for its own lane and 3 timers spread over the other lanes.
