On Saturday, July 20th, we will have our second and final invitational meet of the season with all six teams in our SCSC league meeting at the SCSC Finals Championships at Corona Del Mar High School. This meet will feature a single, unified session (not a split meet) and includes both relays and individual events. It marks the end of our summer swim season and provides opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills and compete against other teams. Finals has limited entries for each team and will be invitation-only based on swimmers' dips, times and abilities including having attended at least four meets in the season and swimming two events at each of those meets. Coaches will be reaching out to eligible HVST swimmers by Tuesday, July 16th to invite them to swim. Go Dolphins!

What If I Can't Make the Shift For Which I Signed up?

It’s your responsibility to find a substitute for any volunteer job that you’re unable to fulfill. Remember: you don't need to be the one who volunteers; it can be a babysitter, teenager, grandparent, etc. Or switch the shift in Swimtopia to another meet at which you're available to volunteer. Sign ups will close a couple days before a meet so don’t delay in swapping. If you no-show for a shift that you are signed up for there will be an automatic charge of $125 for each shift that you no-show for. Cancellations made the day prior or day of the meet will incur a $125 charge to your account. You are responsible for keeping track of your own shifts, it is not the responsibility of the team to remind you of your shifts.
